06 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2003: Hi gang! I'll be out of town at a conference the next few days. Can I get an extend please?
06 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2003: GameMaster: Colombia voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 2004" the votes will be cleared.
06 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: Hi Peru. I will attack Bar this turn. If you attack Panama from CostaRica, and you attack Med with support, you will surely have it.
06 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: Sorry, that was not meant for global press...
06 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: I won't read it then. :-)
06 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: And I entered the wrong order. Dang it!
06 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: GameMaster: Per 2/3 majority vote the gamephase got extended by 4 days.
(Voters: Brazil / Chile / Peru / Colombia)
12 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: GameMaster: Chile voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Autumn, 2004" the votes will be cleared.
12 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: Back in town from the conference. Thanks for the extend.
18 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Extend-request didn't reach 2/3 majority. All extend-votes cleared.
19 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: Hey gang, real life has gotten a bit much for me to play lately. I'm trying to find someone to take over for me and will let you know.
19 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Peru voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
20 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: wow, so now it's everyone against Brazil !
20 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: I am going to vote draw as this game has swung beyond what could reasonably have been expected. Even if I were a master diplomat I would hardly have been able to convince Peru to betray his ally and give me his own supply centres. This has only happened because Peru cannot play anymore and I feel that since this is not what we implicitly agreed (i.e. play a game of Diplomacy) and the 'unnatural' swing in balance we should just draw and all go home happy.
20 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Colombia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
25 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2005: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Peru replacing "geothearch". Reconsider your alliances.
26 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2005: Does nobody see the oncoming world dominion of the Chileans?
Let's all unite and fight them back, before they conquer us all!
26 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2005: or we can draw and go home
26 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2005: i can hardly call the capture of one sc world domination, particularly because this one is so easy to recapture
26 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 2005: True thing. But I'm not looking at how many SCs you have, but how many you will likely have in 1 or 2 years. And it looks like you are growing rapidly, Chile.

I'm all for a draw though. It's a somewhat chaotic game with Argentina never saying a word, and Peru being replaced by an equally silent player.
