01 Dec 16 UTC [Russia]:Gg
01 Dec 16 UTC [Britain]:Well played every one. The Chinese attack meant I couldn't reinforce my lines against Russia, so I was just hoping for you remain friendly.

And I was on the verge of a breakthrough against Brazil as well...
01 Dec 16 UTC [China]:GG well played. I appreciated the neutrality Britain, especially when I NMR'd a couple times (apologies to everyone, but we were hosting Thanksgiving and Diplomacy became a lesser priority). However, I couldn't just sit back and let Britain solo, which is what would have happened in a few years.

Russia, I'm glad you picked up on the hint and went for Britain in spite of your game long productive alliance with him. I was concerned about your build in Anchorage which is why I semi-attacked this turn. But I see that building Anchorage may have helped keep Britain in the dark.

Thanks to everyone else -- except France and Holland, who barely showed up to play lol.
01 Dec 16 UTC [Brazil]:Gg, I was hoping for draw, but I didn't believe it. Thanks Mexico, that you leave me, after my hard attack.
Thank
01 Dec 16 UTC [Brazil]:S Britain for draw
01 Dec 16 UTC [Mexico]:GG everyone. CSA, glad we could remain allies. Brazil, I enjoyed fighting you and wonder how it would have turned out with active France and Holland.
02 Dec 16 UTC [CSA]:Well, i can't really call this a good game. the nmrs were too debilitating here. This map is already by default unbalanced (in gunboat even more), so the disappearance of two other colonial empires pushes the gameplay over the edge. wish the more active players had gotten those nations. But here we were, i was stuck with CSA, one of the most crappy states here, and had to play wall. :) Not blaming britain for exploiting the shit out of this situation, would probably have done the same - though this game should have been cancelled.

Thanks Mexico, was a pleasure to be allied with you. :)

Russia.... dear russia, over the course of this game i was unsure whether you are britain's multi or simply a fuckin' moron. Aside from the NMRs, your bullshit is the main reason britain almost won here. Leaving him alone until he gets well into the 60ies is already insane. Helping him against me? GREAT idea - most of my centers he would have gotten. Luckily i know how to defend my borders. And had china not started pushing against UK as well this turn, the fight would likely have continued - so you turning on him at this late point would not necessarily have resulted in avoiding a british solo. While you certainly have tactical skill, i'd say you need to work on your insight regarding long-term consequences of your decisions.
