23 Nov 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: I happen to be playing this same map as the same power with Devonian! Good luck, I look forward to seeing what the ending will be like. Tell me what I should've done after I've been beaten :P |

01 Dec 16 UTC | Well I'm done :) |
01 Dec 16 UTC | GameMaster: Austria voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
01 Dec 16 UTC | It was a good fight relatively... What mistakes did you think I made? And what should I have done instead? I could've kept on going and possibly moved into Ionian Sea but it wouldn't have mattered too much at this point. |
02 Dec 16 UTC | Hmm, for the most part you did pretty well - the retreat from Munich to Ruhr was potentially a good tipping point, though unfortunately the army died because of the NMR during the Retreat phase. The general advice I would give would be to try and structure your moves so that you're reaching peak efficiency with your units. Case in point, Austria starts with one fleet in Trieste. Notice how I kept it bottled up in Venice with my army. An alternative might have been to move the fleet to Albania and then Greece instead, which has you taking an SC but also better positions you to move on Tunis and Naples immediately afterward. This leaves Venice open to me, but then I have to hold it with one army right next to your home SCs |
02 Dec 16 UTC | In short, think ahead on your movements. Where can you move you armies and fleets, but also where might you want them one or two moves down the line, and how does that influence placement |
02 Dec 16 UTC | I will do so to think ahead. Would you be able to start another game? You pick the map and I'll try again but this time I'll do my best to think one or two moves down the line. So same deal as this game but I should be a bit better :) Share me the password and such please. |
