07 Mar 18 UTC | Spring, 1905: If I am going to lose a game, I would rather lose quickly than have it drawn out over a long period of time. Having to wait almost 5 days between moves was not what I signed up for. Part of playing diplomacy with a time limit is accepting the possibility that your allies are going to CD, which could harm you. I am fine pausing the game for an extra few hours, but when we start talking about tripling the wait time between moves, it kills the momentum of the game. I don't think it is unfair to ask that we stop pausing for twice the waiting time. |
