27 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: GameMaster: Up North voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
31 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: GameMaster: East-Anglia voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
02 Jun 18 UTC Merseyside spent a little too long banging its head on my wall and letting London creep up through the map. Well done caboose!
02 Jun 18 UTC Impossible to stop London really. I did my best but not enough...
02 Jun 18 UTC If London knows what they are doing, it seems like they have a slight edge in this variant.
02 Jun 18 UTC Most definitely, just look at the stats.
02 Jun 18 UTC Yeah, look at the lack of East Anglian success too. There just aren't enough SCs that I can feasibly take and hold for EA to get a solid start.
02 Jun 18 UTC Yeah, good game guys. Definitely helped that I was London. May be less of an advantage with communication on, but in gunboat it was a huge advantage for me. Map could use a few tweaks to even it out for sure.
02 Jun 18 UTC We had a stalemate at north, no progress. Peaceful for Wales wasn't enough.
Thank you for game.
02 Jun 18 UTC Personally I'm just not a huge fan of gunboat. Negotiations are what makes Diplomacy fun. :)
02 Jun 18 UTC Negotiations are good, but then when you get stabbed in the back it kinda ruins the rest of the game from that point on. I like coordinating with others, but have had many games where I've been stabbed and then lost interest in the remainder of the game
02 Jun 18 UTC Mersey, I could see your attitude and appreciated it. But as you say, not enough. London on a roll is unstoppable.
