I've read through the rules, and think I have it covered. I've also read some of this history. I'm not sure how things works in a case as with someone new entering now. CCR has issued a challenge (and thus I assume couldn't accept my challenge even if offered. abadu just started games, and can't accept for that reason. I believe that the rules, or perhaps elsewhere, it was said that to join you had to issue a challenge. I assume what happens is a penalty-free refusal and then I wait for someone to be open? Or am I not understanding some aspect of the thing?

PS off-topic. did anyone note the bug on my vdip points? Mine and Unstupid's, in fact. We were both sent back to 1000 after one of our 1v1 games finished (thus 1008 to 992 due to resultts of that said game). Mods are already aware of the bug, but I think we miss Oli, the one mod who could fix it...

Related to off-topic, something similar happened to me and BobRoss, except that I went to 998 when I won the first game.

Yup, just made a post about this in the forum (didn't know this discussion started here as well). My loss against abadu cost me 607 haha.

Did you post in the mod forum as well? Although maybe they will pick it up from your new thread as well?

Only posted it in the regular form at this point. The mods are really busy working the backlog of the Mod Forum and I thought that perhaps this wouldn't be a bug but rather an update on the point system (of which i missed a notification).

Yet, it most certainly looks like a bug. I opened the hall of fame like 10 minutes ago and the scores ranged from (4000+ points first place to 500 for #100). It is now back to normal again but the whole ranking system seems to be a mess atm ;-)

Goal, you're fine. If there isn't anyone to challenge. You just add your name to the list and wait for someone to free up or join and challenge you.

BobRoss... I think when you saw #1 as 4000 , that was the Dpoints hall of fame, not Vpoints. There are 2 separate hall of fame lists here.

PS off-topic. Wow Bob, what a loss. I had a similar loss, from 1598 to 1007 now (from 1008 to 1007 after the second 1v1 victory (?)). It seems 1v1 games should not count towards vdip points, from what an anonymous Mod told me yesterday. I have this problem already assigned to the Mods on their forum, but as I stated before, I believe who can fix it is not around for a while (Oli, the creator of the ranking). I will update the thread I created overthere with your problem too. It also afftects Unstupid and Abadu as well. Let's see if it will do the same to the Doctor's points when i win my first match against him *grin*

1v1 games don't affect the vdip rating much. I would be surprised to see more than a 10 point change for a 1v1. Significant losses are probably due to the glitch in the system.
