gameID=32429 ) I really thought you had him up until Autumn 1906. I realize that I'm armchair quarterbacking here, but in my view you win this game with just two alternate moves this season:
FF English Channel - Mid Atlantic Ocean
FA Silesia - Galicia.
The naval move not only blocks Eden's pirate maneuver, but it sets you up to Spain next year in case he bounces you this turn. Portugal then is then available at your discretion for the duration.
The army move puts you in behind Austria before he's even begun to think about Balkan centers or Turkey, and limits how bold he can be in northern Russia. Yes, it's a fall turn, so a move for position isn't sexy... but you know Austria is going to cover Warsaw here, and he has to do it with Galicia. He covers Warsaw, but you're behind him and wreaking the kind of havoc that he put on you in the Mid Atlantic.
