I faithfully adapted the original variant - including the 26 SC win requirement. But I propose we make a variant of the variant and make one where the requirement to win is 43 Supply Centers (1 more than 1/2).

A suggestion for a map that should NEVER be made!!!
Do not EVER make a England vs Russia map... it is literally Impossible for England to win, and without a miracle the game won't even last past 1903... it just does NOT work!!! just thought everyone should know I was the idiot who tried it and failed epically.
Playing at lepanto is slightly different to webDiplomacy: Not php based, but a browser UI to create moves (it is also possible to send your moves by mail). Lepanto.de is the the web home of Judge DEUS. For those who don't know what a judge is (unbelieveable, but maybe someone inside the dippy community might not know this): This is an online software, waiting for the players input, and sends mail responses (adjucations, press etc) to the players.
For this tournament, there is no press between the players, and deadlines every 24-48 hours.
the Mini cup ends with a 4 way draw to eminent stalemate. the drawing players were: Dejan0707, bozo, Adler, Mongoose998 --- EOGs? comments? spectator comments?
