14 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1861: [France]:Cool!

Anyone else noticed this large white box?
14 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1861: [Mexico]:Nope.
14 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1861: [France]:Then I claim it for France! Mwahahaha

*wave flag*
17 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1861: [France]:Britain NMR. Can we get a replacement?
17 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1862: [Austria]:Nice of you France. Few players look for fair play!!
18 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1862: [CSA]:I don't think we can replace until he actually CD's tho...
20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1862: [Austria]:If someone wants to play this scenario again:

20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1862: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Britain replacing "RobertSaget". Reconsider your alliances.
01 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1864: GameMaster: Austria voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 1865" the votes will be cleared.
01 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1864: [Austria]:Sorry, I pressed extend by error. Mobile phones...
04 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1864: [Mexico]:Hawaii's going to have some fucked up culture by the end of this game. "Konnichiwa, senor! Care for some vodka and sushi tacos?"
04 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1864: [Britain]:Lol
14 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1866: GameMaster: Austria voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
17 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [Austria]:sorry again press it by error in my mobile phone
17 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [Austria]:Am I the only one who thinks that the relationship between France and Holland is a bit "multi-account suspicius"? cooperating in America and fighting in Asia is not very common...
18 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [Brazil]:Are you suggesting there's a player in this game fighting himself?
18 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [France]:I'm sorry but that's just sounds stupid? If I controlled both accounts, there certainly wouldn't be as many bounces and maneuvers that failed due to LACK of communication. Look at the board in the past 3 years and we've had more bounces than any 2 other powers on the board.

We're at war with each other - true. But does that change the fact that we are all screwed if we leave the Americas alone or (worse) fight each other there? No. Because that is what's going to happen and we're both smart enough to understand what's at risk here.

I'll give you it's an uncommon scenario but not impossible. You wouldn't believe the amount of arguing we do on how to resolve issues in South America but we've reached some general rules to follow to prevent any spill over.

1) What happens in South America, stays in South America. We're essentially treating the Americas as another board and game entirely.

As a result: 2) Discussions remain distinctly separate.

Of course, this is all just my word. If you want to press charges after this game (and our names revealed) then g ahead. I've got nothing to hide.
18 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [China]:^^ What France says makes absolute sense, especially in the context of the complicated relationships among the Colonial Powers. The map is so big and they're so spread out that you've really got to consider the ramifications of pissing off a colonial power in one continent, only to have him retaliate in some other corner of the world. I'll admit I've never actually seen two players both legitimately at war (as opposed to just amiably swapping territories) and allied at the same time, but certainly stranger things happened in world history. I love how this map allows you to take part in Imperialism in all its glorious and infamous messiness.
18 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [Mexico]:I trust France.
18 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1866: [Japan]:True, while this may seem unprecedented, I have seen odder circumstances like an Austro-Turkish alliance that not only lasted but actually won the game.
