22 Sep 13 UTC [Kyushu]:Congrats CJ!
@Dr. Recommended: if you would have supported me, Arafura could have been stopped...
22 Sep 13 UTC [Ishfahan]:I just kind of figured Afafura would be unstoppable when he just kept growing when I was screwing around the other direction. Should've seen it earlier.
23 Sep 13 UTC [Hamra]:yes Cool, you kept pounding at me (not easy to crack ey?) even though it became obvious we would all get screwed by Arafura. and that noob Sakhalin (ruraljuror) kept making it worse.
I was waiting from you to stop the attack, order support to show intention of peace, and move up together.
23 Sep 13 UTC [Sakhalin]:Hamra, you really should consider taking a chill pill.
23 Sep 13 UTC [Kyushu]:no, Sakhalin you played really bad. Just take it as an advise. Never just blindly attack every free SC within your reach.
23 Sep 13 UTC [Orleans]:EoG from Orleans: never played this variant, tried to open against Newfoundland, and I was lucky Valparaiso attacked him from the other side (and Jylland was distracted by Sakhalin). While we were finishing Newfoundland, Valparaiso turned on me, but I had a large advantage, so I was able to press on and get most of my continent. I considered stabbing Jylland, but realized that in order to get (prevent?) a solo, I needed to grab some land on the other continent. I concentrated on Lugulu, hoping to make some fast gain and break in the south-eastern seas, but was unable to make lasting progress. Even worse, my attack prevented Lugulu from getting SCs in Hamra/Ishafan territories: sorry :-( .
When I stopped my attack, it was too late to stop Arafura.
Well, congratulations to the winner!
