25 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: (kikker82): Alliance: pretty straight forward if you propose an alliance with a player(s) you are partners til the end...or until someone backstabs and/or doublecrosses, which would be the end of the alliance (barring some quick and fancy shmoozing). you could have a standard 2 player alliance all the way up to a super kinky 5-way. but the larger alliances rarely last long. |
25 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: (kikker82): NAP (Non Aggression Pact): I don't attack you, you don't attack me. world keeps on spinning. |
25 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: (kikker82): DMZ (Demilitarized Zone): a territory that both/all parties have agreed not to attack. |
25 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: (kikker82): Support: it all comes down to the power of your armies and it's pretty simple. 1 army/navy vs 1 army/navy = 1 vs 1, stalemate. if another army adds their support, 1 army/navy vs 1 army/navy w/ the support of 1 other army/navy = 1 vs 2, a win for the player who had the support. further, 1 army/navy w/ the support of 1 army/navy vs 1 army/navy w/ the support of 2 armies/navies = 2 vs 3, again the player with the most power wins. pretty simple. |
25 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: (kikker82): Bounce: when armies of equal strength both attempt to take the same territory they will stalemate or "Bounce" back to their original territory (unless someone else has over powered and taken that territory, but lets not muddle it too much). |
26 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: Sorry I'm late. Feel free to yell at me if I start holding the game/games up. I have a lot going on right now. |

27 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: No worries. the gangs all here. now that we have our assigned countries get to wheelin and dealing. |
27 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: The difference between support hold and support move: support hold a unit that is holding position; support move to the territory to which the unit is moving. |
27 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: Finally, convoys: you can convoy armies across the seas using yours and/or a friend's navies. To do this you must have an unbroken chain of navies connecting the land unit to the territory to which you are convoying it. And all navies have to put in convoy orders. |
27 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1939: That's pretty much it for the rules. Msg me (Soviet Union) if you have any questions. And remember the name of the game is diplomacy. So make sure your chatting with the other countries. Play like the JLA (or LOD) not Batman. |
