18 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 1907: GameMaster: France voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
20 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Germany replacing "Erudite". Reconsider your alliances.
02 Dec 13 UTC Congrats for the emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy! GG
02 Dec 13 UTC Thanks ;) Good game all.
02 Dec 13 UTC I was feeling pretty good about things until turkey and italy were simultaneously defeated :(. Well done Doctor.
02 Dec 13 UTC I thought I was in trouble early, with Italy attacking, but England and Turkey kept Russia occupied (not that I could see that!) which gave me time and space to right the ship. Curious move by Italy to probe west while fighting me - just hoping to grab a center to boost your defenses? Drawing France towards you proved costly. Turkey, sorry for the stab in '04. You had been peaceful, which was crucial to my early survival, but I had the numbers and had to take the opportunity. France, we had a great battle going over Italy's remains. When you pulled away back west and disbanded Tunis, I had some worry that England might be growing large, which increased once I saw him in Baltic/St. Pete. I had another Fog game snatched away recently - I had maybe 15 centers and thought I had it in the bag, only to get beat to 18. I didn't have to worry long though, I could see things were in my favor.

There are a few more Fog Gunboats starting, I see, if anyone is interested!
03 Dec 13 UTC Yes, I've seen them, but it seems that it's too costly for me. :D Unfortunately I don't have as many points as you to put them in WTA games. :D
03 Dec 13 UTC Ah, but that's how you earn them :)
03 Dec 13 UTC Yes, maybe, but it's quite risky. :P
03 Dec 13 UTC I understand. I've generally had a policy of betting @10-15% of my total per game, but that's easier on webDip where there are more players with more points. Here it's hard to find higher-pot games. If your win+draw % is decent (mine has generally been in the low 40's, and my points have slowly but steadily accumulated) then you will earn back more than you lose.
