11 Nov 13 UTC Bidding: You have to bid on places to have them as your home "base" to start with. You can bid on ANY territory, no matter where they are on the map. You can bid more than once on a certain territory, making sure that you are able to get that territory. (You can go to the explanation of the variant in the "Variant" tab - it gives a better explanation of this.)
