Please tell me what you think, raise any necessary objections, etc. Once we have agreed on this, it will be considered an international agreement. If breached, all involved nations are committed to declare war on he who broke the contract. |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Otis): I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I also wish to take SEY. |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Romulus): Doesn't this proposal kinda defeat the purpose of the game? |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Romulus): Secondly how would you enforce it? |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Romulus): Secondly how would you enforce it? |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Darkarus): wait why is an anon game showing names? |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Darkarus): Also Britain calm down and wait on the negotiation until the game starts this in not a public press game. And your never going to make this work good luck Brian is a hard pick |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Romulus): Yeah I wondering the same thing about the names |
18 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Otis): The names thing is weird. To enforce this, you'd need mutual co-operation. Basically, we wouldn't really need to enforce these conditions, so much as keep them in mind, agree to them, and take the territories we want, then see how things pan out as we normally would. If we wanted to make a big deal about them, we could do so as a group. |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Tristan): and then what, draw? thus defeating the objective of the game? |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Otis): Are you saying you want it to be acceptable to be betrayed at a crucial moment? I'm trying to establish a system that will prevent conflict, and will allow negotiations to be made more smoothly - moreover, do you have any objections to the actual territorial arrangements? |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Romulus): That's kinda the way the game works... and prevent conflict? Isn't this a war game? |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Darkarus): Britain if I play well there will not be a way for my ally to stab me or we have to cooperate because of other threats also because of the press conditions you are encouraging an alliance against you I have made this same mistake and lost games as a direct result |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Otis): Alright then. Let's not set up great huge systems of conduct. |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Darkarus): no that is not what I am saying in this variant as Britain you should look to build a large alliance of smaller powers and European allies but you should wait until the game has started because you have said what you are planning to do to everyone and they have not advertised their intentions and now with the knowledge you have given them they can make plans |
19 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Otis): Hmm. You may be right. |
20 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
20 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: GameMaster: Austria voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
20 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: There is something fishy of waiting on an Austria to join. And then an Austria joins an immediately votes to concede. |
20 Nov 13 UTC | Spring, 1861: I wish I could choose which I wanted to be armies or fleets :/ |
