Country:

24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: I think I'm Burgundy. It says Burgundy.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Yes, You're Burgundy
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: See the territories with Black dots?

They're Supply Centers. You get one Army/Fleet for Each You Own.

As such, they are important.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: The Difference Between an Army and a Fleet is just where it can go. Fleets can move on Sea, while Armies can March on Landlocked Territories. Both can move on Coastal territories.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: How does Rena have more pints than us?
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Points
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Armies [And Fleets, assume I mean both from now on unless I say otherwise] can do three things on their turn: Attack, Hold and Support.

Hold is basically do nothing.

Attack is movement. Whoever attacks a territory with the most Support wins.

You can support adjacent territories and attacks into adjacent territories. If a supporting army is attacked the support is cancelled.

Got all of that?
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Yes.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: ReDead: Try

Dijon: Attack, Cantons.
Luxembourg: Attack Lorraine.
And just have the other two hold.

Rena: Devon Attack Bristol.
Guyenne attack Normandy.
Normandy Support Guyenne.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: or rather:

Guyenne attack Brittany
Support Move Brittanty.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Rena?
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: But then wouldn't Paris be able to take Normandy?

And Toulouse Guyenne?
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Normandy is only Supporting, so it doesn't move. It stays there.

But Guyenne is Vulnerable. I'm not going to move on it though; This is just going to show how two beats one.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Oh.

Why do I want Lorraine, though? It doesn't seem to be of any use.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: On the next turn you can support an attack on Cantons.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: Until then, I can keep countering it from Dauphine.
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: But I'm moving Dijon to Cantons.

Why would I attack it?
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: I say we hunt down Rena.
What's taking her?
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: In this game all movements are called "Attacks"
24 May 11 UTC Year: 1425: At least in the version I play. Grumble. Move works.
