06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (G-Man): A woo woo woo, a woo woo woo, a woo woo woo
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (Titus): how come there is no detroit on this map??
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (G-Man): Detroit and the Detroit River, which is where the city took its name from, were not navigated by non-natives or named (by the French) until the middle of the 17th century, approximately 150 years after the time period of this variant.
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (Jonnikhan): My first time on this variant...
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (GOD): It's easy to stalemated, be warned
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (G-Man): All depends on the alliances and timing though...
08 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1501: (El Cremoso): agree with everyone. getting a solo on this map against quality players is quite the accomplishment. usually see a 2 or 3 team draw.
11 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1505: It can be done, but it only takes two alliances between corner powers to lock everything up, and that's what everyone has gone for here.
26 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1507: this is one of those times that I wish this map had the interactive orders...
27 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1507: GameMaster: Huron voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
27 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1507: the battle for north channel is fierce.
04 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1509: Well, I hope the rest of you had more fun than me this game. Not one of my finest moments, though I'm not too sure better play would have made much of a difference for me given the alliances. Will look forward to shooting for a measure of revenge next game. Cheers!
04 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1509: GG hope to see you around, I still maintain that the corner/edge players in this map have quite the advantage over the center even more if they do not ally together then again its hard to trust someone so close to your home sc's at the beginning of the game...
11 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1510: GameMaster: Iroquois voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
11 Nov 14 UTC Good game everyone.
11 Nov 14 UTC Well, that was different! (And I'll leave it at that!!) Next up, we have that game where a number of powers have colonies that I mentioned. Check your PM's for details.
11 Nov 14 UTC I hate this map :D
11 Nov 14 UTC this map is pretty bad xD corner players have quite the advantage...
12 Nov 14 UTC Yes, it seems predetermined, but I like the inner lake concept, maybe w adjustments it
