23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Greetings all. I would like to start by staking my claim to Ontario, Nova Scotia and Greenland. The first two are natural parts of Canada so must be placed under Quebec's control. @New York - I would like to build a good relationship with you as we are 2 quite successful powers. We probably won't conflict over SCs in the first year so I think we could be good allies. If we ally, you can focus your forces on southern or western expansion rather than needing them to defend your north. I would like to hear from you. @British Columbia - What are your plans in Canada? There aren't many SCs between us but what should we do about Greenland and Manitoba? If I move to Hudson Bay, I can support you to Manitoba. Perhaps rather than moving your Anchorage fleet to the arctic ocean, you could move it to Vancouver and take Seattle with it. @Heartland - What do you plan? Will you put your forces west, east, north or south? I would strongly discourage you from moving your forces too far north (same to you @New York) as it could lead to conflict. @Texas seem to have already made their orders so they appear to have a plan without any negotiations which I think is a bit odd. Everyone else - My current foreign policy is flexible and can change for good reasons. If anyone would like an alliance with Quebec, all you have to do is ask. |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @Florida DMZ Strait of Florida? |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @Mexico you get Guatemala, I get Yucatan? |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: My friendly neighbour Quebec, I fully agree. Dont move below Nova Scotia and the river and we are allies. |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: ¡Hola, Cubanos y Mexicanos! |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Can we work out a deal in Central America and Caribbean? |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: I would like to take Panama and Venezuela, and I'm happy to leave you guys to divide the rest. |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Also, how about an alianza española? |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @Peru Sounds good! |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Lots of snakes in chat. If Cuba, that mischievous commie, wants peace with Florida, that only means he is coming after is Peru. |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: *us. I will bounce him on Yucatan if he attempts that. Regards from Mexico to Peru, with hopes of forging a lasting bond, and a world without Cuba. |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @Mexico, please don't call me a snake before a single turn has passed. I'd prefer a Mexico-Peru-Cuba alliance over a Florida-Cuba vs. Mexico-Peru alliance. Also, if you looked, you would have seen my proposed treaty to you. |
23 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: And also, if a single person controls the entire country in vDip... doesn't that make us all communist dictatorships? |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Amigos, let us not fight among ourselves. |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Sure @cuba |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @Mexico do you agree that I get Yucatan and you get Guatemala? |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @Heartland have done their orders without negotiating. I wonder what they're up to. |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @British Colombia has yet to make their move. Maybe they will go into civil disorder and I can take all of their free territories |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: @New York - Heartland seem to be saying nothing. Would you like a closer alliance? |
24 Feb 17 UTC | Spring, 1999: Hello! For now, my plan is to take whats rightfully mine. - Namely those areas which borders me, but none of you. I am open for alliances and agreements, and dont wish to threaten anybody. I do feel the fact that i'm the one in the middle, and hope I can find some friendship. |
