Spring, 2000: is there a way to see the messages you have sent? |
01 Aug 19 UTC |
Spring, 2000: also if you put in orders and save them, are they final? |
01 Aug 19 UTC |
Spring, 2000: Ok everyone, this is generally what the game looks like. This is the global chat, but you can open the dropdown at the top to select a direct chat with a single other player. Feel free to make group chats or anything like that via text if you like, everything is fair game. |

Spring, 2000: The red !! next to a player's name means they have not put in any orders, the grey checkmark means they've saved orders, and the green checkmark means they've readied their orders. Once everyone has readied their orders (or we've run out of time for entering orders), everyone's orders will be executed and we'll move on to the next round of orders. At the end of each Fall round, the total number of controlled supply centers will update, and the next round will consist of everyone adding/removing armies/ships to match the number of supply centers they control. Then the game resumes with the next Spring round, and we just keep going in that order until one player controls 18 supply centers or all remaining players accept a draw. |

Spring, 2000: So to answer your questions, Brian, saving your orders does not make them final, if they are saved and not readied you will have until the round runs out of time before they are executed. If you ready your orders, then they will be executed once everyone else has readied theirs as well, but until then you can freely come in and edit them. |

Spring, 2000: As far as messages go, you can always see all the messages in a conversation by opening that conversation up. I believe the player names at the top go bold or italic if you have a message from them in your DMs. |

Spring, 2000: Next game, I'll make us all anonymous so we can't see who is which country, but for this intro to the game/interface session, I don't think it's a big deal to know that I am purple and ALL SHOULD FEAR PURPLE!!!!!! |

Spring, 2000: Also, meant no offense Bobby, I just wanted to get my Hank Hill on |

Spring, 2000: Correction, a little blue envelope shows up next to conversations you have unread messages in. It also shows up next to the person's name down in the orders status section. |

Spring, 2000: No offense taken....on a side note...this is the last serious response lacking sarcasm that shall come from the Merseyside Armada! |

Autumn, 2000: is everyone checking their direct messages? |
03 Aug 19 UTC |
Autumn, 2000: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
