26 Mar 20 UTC Good game. There was a chance for a draw at the end if Brunei hadn't attacked me in KAS (I was supporting him in Sam)
26 Mar 20 UTC Thanx for the game. Funny map. Maybe a bit unbalancend ?
@orange : well played !
26 Mar 20 UTC Definitely unbalanced. Looking at the statistics: Ternate has a performance of 6.68 while the next highest is Dai Viet at 3.27. Then it rapidly declines from there. Meaning that Ternate has at least two times the chance of winning based on past games.
26 Mar 20 UTC I realised the game was over when Majapahit didn't attack you and Tondo and Brunei started fighting. The home centers for Ternate are also very hard for other players to attack
26 Mar 20 UTC I get so excited playing new maps, but the unbalancedness is awful. Brunei sucked for openers
26 Mar 20 UTC thanks Tranenreich, you played well too. Also Pomerschen, you did a very good job holding the line.

But also I would like to say that I would like to drive a wooden stake through the chest of Brunei/awood. Just, what was the point of that move? I was pushing into a position to force a draw. Why kill yourself when you could have made it to draw? I was trying to plan out moves a few phases in advance but none of it accounted for you throwing the game away instantly.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
26 Mar 20 UTC This game wasn't supposed to be a loss
26 Mar 20 UTC Yeah, that was my point Dai Viet/Orange. I moved my fleets into a position where I could hold my sea zones (for at least 4 turns) and also move forward, but Brunei/awood decided to attack and win the game for Ternate/Tränenreich
26 Mar 20 UTC We were so close to greatness, I was getting ready to take Ksg and Nam, as well as to take Tun. Was so close to stopping the win
26 Mar 20 UTC Hi Dai Viet/Orange: I appreciated our fight, and I think it was correct for you to attack me. You probably had bad luck in the end.
26 Mar 20 UTC Yeah there wasn't much of a choice for early expansion other than you. I wouldn't really say it was bad luck in the end more just someone playing completely against their own interests
27 Mar 20 UTC It‘s true - Ternate have the best „statistic“. But also it´s true, that everybody knows the statistic ! So as the player of Tondo or Malacca I have to attack the big bad Ternate.
Beside this game. My personal opinion is, that a good map have to be a bit unbalanced. But only a little bit.
