26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Aladeen): OK. Can everyone try and check the game twice a day - maybe when you wake up and before bed? Try and keep it moving. If you haven't played at this site before, notice that there is a "save" button and a "ready" button. Save means the game moves to the next phase after the full 24 hours is up, but if everyone hits "ready," the game moves when the last person hits "ready." |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (SlawDawg77): Hola from Atlanta as we prepare for WWI I see |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Aladeen): I chose this map because Steve's family owned slaves in Virginia in the 1800s and I thought he'd enjoy looting Colonial Africa. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (SlawDawg77): I hope he gets Russia as his country now. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Zillah): Me too |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Bardakistan): Hi, I'm in |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Aladeen): So Steve, who is an absolute doorknob, told me he had five players for this game turns out not to have asked them. So we may have to scramble if they don't want to play. We should know more in twelve hours. I can't stress this enough. Steve is dumb. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (BarronTrump): Hi guys, I am not the president’s son, but I do play him on TV. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (FatCatBureaucrat): Hello, all. I'm Betsy DeVos, one of my hero's longest serving cabinet members. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Bardakistan): Welcome Barron and Betsy |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: (Aladeen): Ok. I need to know who everyone actually is so I can tell if someone hasn't signed up. I have suspicions, but can Barron, fattcat, and link please tell me which player you are? |
27 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: Very uneven distribution of SCs at the start. I am interested to see how this map plays. |
27 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: DEATH TO AMERICA! Wait. They aren't on this map. |
27 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: Lacking America, the Tokugawa Shogunate has opted to keep it's borders closed and tell the world to piss off. |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: Looks like the Russian-Japanese War will have a different outcome with a secluded Japan. |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: Dan (Holland) knows he has to move, but has two small kids and will make them in the AM. Hopefully we don't all take the full 24 hours to move each time in the future, though. |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: For future reference, don't just hit "save" when you are done. Hit "ready." Otherwise, we wait a full 24 hours for every move. |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1885: Hi guys, sorry that might be me. First time playing and will note the save/ready distinction for next round. |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1885: I think it was 4 players and the first few rounds always take longer, so don't beat yourself up. |
