20 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 1939: GameMaster: USSR voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database. |
20 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 1939: USSR, cancelling a game is useless. In almost every game someone lefts in the first turn. Unless the game is with a rule for reliability 95%+, you can expect that. Every time. |
20 May 20 UTC | Autumn, 1939: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Germany replacing "balashotcalla". Reconsider your alliances. |

02 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1942: Ouch... Spain messed up. |
03 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1942: I feel in these WWII maps Spain, Portugal, and Sweden would have to be impassible like Switzerland (in other maps) to have more realistic situations. This map is full out alternate history though which i like, but i am figuring out how to make a WWII map with Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, and Sweden impassible. -would anyone find any interest whatsoever in a map described above? I am thinking of there being smaller territories (more SCs) for more larger scale fronts |
03 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1942: It would kind of force Italy and Germany to work together, and Russia able to be opportunistic, but also ganged up on if Britain, the other opportunistic one, decides to attack Russia as well |
03 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1942: as well there would be neutral standing armies that require support into in Greece and Yugoslavia (Turkey would have many empty borders with SCs near the main important parts, protected essentially by the many empty border to represent how Turkey traded with the Axis heavily but there were plans to attack Turkey |
03 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1942: Not so much impassible, but almost impossible to conquer should be better. For example, if Switzerland can be attacked from only 1 or 2 neighboring regions because of the Alps. The same thing should be valid for the Spanish northern mountain ranges and the Carpathian in Rumania. But then... you should balance all of it, so there is no clear winner on the map. It's a lot of hard work, but yes - there will be interested. |
03 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1942: That’s a good idea. Maybe Portugal could be open to “take” in order to get their SC (joining allies as they did later) |
