04 Nov 20 UTC | Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
04 Nov 20 UTC | Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Someone has taken over France replacing "Dr.delirio23". Reconsider your alliances. |
17 Nov 20 UTC | Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: France voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |
28 Dec 20 UTC | GG everyone |
28 Dec 20 UTC | GG |
28 Dec 20 UTC | gg wp y'all |
28 Dec 20 UTC | Congrats GG I loved my annoying fleet. That was my only fun. |
28 Dec 20 UTC | Gg England and everyone in this game! Turkey, why would you attack me in a time we needed to stick together the most? I trusted you not because you presented yourself to be an altruistic neighbour, but because it was a really bad move to attack me. Also Italy, I wish you took the hint and went to your own way. I even let you have Venice to make you stop attacking me. Your attack on me benefitted no one. |
28 Dec 20 UTC | Austria, did you destroy Mars just to end the game? |
28 Dec 20 UTC | Russia, that fleet was annoying the entire game. Nice job there. |
28 Dec 20 UTC | I destroyed Marseilles because Turkey attacked me. Having no way to survive, I wanted to punish Turkey for attacking me while it was clear he shouldn't have attacked me. |
28 Dec 20 UTC | You would have won regardless, but I wanted to take my stance that way. |
28 Dec 20 UTC | Good game all! My plan to take out France from the get-go blew up in my face! |
28 Dec 20 UTC | Strictly speaking, Austria, you did survive, and you probably shouldn't play PPSC if you think people maximizing their SCs is a "really bad move." I accept your punishment, though, such as it was. You're welcome for Naples, by the way. ;) |
29 Dec 20 UTC | Don't worry, Turkey... Austria's barkardes is worse than his bite |
29 Dec 20 UTC | Eh, even based on PPSC, you would gain a lot more by sticking with an alliance against England. Hell, even if you didn't care about defeating England(or drawing) at all, you could gain a lot more by betraying me later on rather than right now. Anyways, both are just virtual numbers to me, I only cared that we could perhaps draw against England, which is the original purpose of the game: To basically win or force a draw. But I respect your preference. |
29 Dec 20 UTC | And Germany, do I know you from another game? |
29 Dec 20 UTC | Lol ok ok. I just got the pun |
29 Dec 20 UTC | heh. :) |
29 Dec 20 UTC | I mean, barring a slightly better stab on you, the only way I could have gotten more points would have been a two-person draw or a solo, which I would be surprised to hear anyone thought were realistic options for me. I'll admit that I am impatient though. You're certainly not the first person to say so! We all agree that these are just virtual numbers in a virtual game. I only cared to respond because you criticized me, and it sounds like you only criticized me because we have different views on what we should value in a PPSC game. I completely agree that WTA is truer to the original intention of the game, and had this been a WTA game I am confident that we would have gotten to that draw. A+ pun Germany—probably says a lot that I thought of Bacardi when I read barkardes. |
