30 Apr 21 UTC	Thanks everyone, that was the most difficult and drawn out battle I've had in gunboat, interesting and close fought throughout. A very bizarre solo map position for Britain! I feel very fortunate given a tricky position around 1887 or so when Germany was in Australia and everywhere on the map was holding the line only for me - could have gone several ways to several factions at that point. In the mid-to-late game that France/Italy alliance was very potent (kudos Italy for not stabbing France when you had a large advantage in builds - would have been an easy guaranteed second place). Well done France for eventually crushing those 3 British Isle SCs I massively overloaded with fleets! The early Indian Ocean battle seemed to take forever to resolve from the chaos, some real solid tactics from everyone involved. Commiserations particularly to Austria for what I think is a much lower share of the pot than your Anti-Solo deserved - unfortunate to be bombarded in that way (understandably) in the last two years. Sorry Japan - I appreciated how good the defence was when you were facing a slowly increasing numerical disadvantage, each breakthrough felt hard won for me. Thanks too China - at one point I was at war with everyone but for you which was greatly appreciated. GG all

30 Apr 21 UTC	Pretty disgusted with France/Italy. Hope that feels good. I went all out to hold Britain to 49. Thanks guys. As it is in life so it is in Dip I think.
01 May 21 UTC	Unfortunately, it was impossible to stop him for the last center. I checked several times to be sure. Otherwise I would have never stabbed you, because you really did a great job. However - points are important and I saw France encroaching to get mine, so I took yours. Sorry about that indeed! Otherwise, we fought greatly against the Brits, but alas - it wasn't enough. Mistakes were made. :d

01 May 21 UTC	Not everyone believes in adding 3 extra points at the expense of a game long alliance. It depends what you like to walk away from a game feeling. Like I say, the world is made of different types of people and that is reflected in Dip too. Depends what makes you feel good. I confess the stab was unexpected as who cares about 3 more points? But I am old school. A loss is a loss is a loss. And we all lost. Except Britain - congrats.

02 May 21 UTC	Uuum, no, @Russia, sorry. @Austria: If I knew you cared so much, I wouldn't do it. It's exactly because it doesn't matter for the current game that I did it. I do care about the points though, because I have a personal target to achieve.
