15 Jun 21 UTC Congratulations!
15 Jun 21 UTC GG all, was an interesting one. Quite a few factors broke my way. Excellent tussle Japan, it was impossible to break through anywhere
15 Jun 21 UTC Fortunately Japan and I were able to keep Russia chiefly landlocked which killed their chance at a solo.
15 Jun 21 UTC Yes the game lasted a few more years due to my not getting fleets in until late, chiefly due to excellent defending by Turkey (took until 1892 to make the key breakthrough). If I had managed to consolidate the Cairo grab with a fleet/ fleets it would have been likely over much quicker.

Japan and Italy, you did exactly the right thing in shutting down my expansion options, Japan not forcing British disbands and Italy getting more and more Med fleets behind the line.

Dutch and Brits unlucky it didn't finish earlier as it meant fewer SCs in the final result. Specific apologies to Britain for shamelessly stabbing for two in 1889 where fighting the Indian Ocean battle left Burma and Karachi (then Delhi) vulnerable.

No eastern fleet capability and loss of Vladivostok irked me, but it being occupied by a fleet really helped me by allowing me to close off Japan's route in to neighbouring territories. Interesting how the battle ended up over Burma and Sichuan between us, was very stalemated.

It's probably easier for me to enjoy the result, but I do genuinely appreciate a succession of really good tactics from nearly all players, that made the game dynamic and interesting, thank you all.
15 Jun 21 UTC I survived!

Keeping German west Africa alive to end was all I could hope for after my anti Austrian tactics want awry
15 Jun 21 UTC Nice work Russia, and good game everyone!
