01 Oct 21 UTC | Spring, 1896: GameMaster: Russia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |
08 Oct 21 UTC | Autumn, 1897: GameMaster: Russia voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
12 Oct 21 UTC | GG everyone! Well played France and thanks to Russia for being a great ally! |
13 Oct 21 UTC | GG everyone! Sorry for turning on you Russia, but it's the thing about PPSC games. |
13 Oct 21 UTC | Gg all! |
13 Oct 21 UTC | Gg france. Since everybody wanted to kill me you were my ticket to survival. @Britain: while I understand why you might have wanted to attack me early game, at some point you really should have stopped (same goes for Russia and japan). you effectively got 2 centers out of me, it bound a shitload of your units and it prevented me from working with the rest of you guys towards a draw - which, with my inclusion, i would have preferred. Speaking of Russia: good ally? That guy NMRed 3 or 4 times, did preciously nothing to prevent a french victory and was too focused on fighting me (admittedly he did a good job exploiting my bad move choices :) |
13 Oct 21 UTC | GG all! @China, yeah thanks for not invading me, I’m glad you got a survive out of it. @Germany, solid ally, sorry about the last minute stab but i foresaw Japan giving me real trouble if the game went on longer. @Italy, had you decided to go after Russia instead of Germany I wouldn’t have fought you, I needed the German fleets in the pacific and Indian Ocean to help me out. |
13 Oct 21 UTC | Huh, I thought PPSC only mattered in a draw. Oh well. The NMRs were due to me being busy in Uni, I'm sorry and all but real life is more important. How the everliving hell was I supposed to prevent a French victory? I didn't attack Germany precisely so they could go after France, I left Britain alone once they got into the fight with France. In China it was either defend the Sinkiang-Peking line or defend Kash-Urumqi-Mongol-Qiqihar-Muk. Guess which one takes up less units? Anyway, GG, France played well. |
13 Oct 21 UTC | I think China is saying Russia should have stopped attacking them so China could attack me, but in a gunboat it’s really hard to disengage in that way |
13 Oct 21 UTC | it was more difficult for russia to disengage as we were at war from the start (though initially i didnt want to go beyond mongolia and port arthur), but britain definitely should have. for japan it probably didn't matter, as i was useless with the others attacking me |
13 Oct 21 UTC | You were allied to France the whole game as far as I can tell. It was fair to assume you'd continue being their loyal ally, like Germany was. |
13 Oct 21 UTC | In the first year i tried to sneak into TON. And had britain not attacked canton, signaling thereby that he wants war with me, i would have focused my southern efforts on expelling France from southeast asia. However, the decision was taken away from me. Britain was against me, France was against Britain, so i had no choice but to go with France in the region. But i still would have preferred a draw with me in it - or france winning if people are hellbent on taking me out. and here we are :) |
