At the start I thought it was over for me almost immediately when I was getting destroyed by Britain, as that's the usual fate of America on this map, but I managed to save myself since they made the mistake of letting me convoy onto the continent. I slowly got more and more powerful and then I thought to myself that maybe I should go for the solo since if it doesn't work I'll still get into the draw. And this worked until both Germany and Italy NMR'ed and then the whole map was against me. I'm so glad I finally got this, because after 1953 I was really worried that I was going to get stalemated in Africa too before I could get the win. Somehow I managed to slip past the Italian defense and ensure I got those last few centres needed to solo. Overall I enjoyed this game very much and I poured a lot of time and effort thinking best where to make progress and who to stab, and it paying off is just great. GG!

17 Jun 22 UTC	Congrats Victorius! By the time I joined you had too much steam in Africa to be stopped, even if France and I had been able to communicate. Those two armies you managed to land took away our stalemate line around Mozambique, and it me took too long to bring my Mediterranean fleets into the Indian Ocean. I did try to keep you on your toes a little bit with some offense, but I know it was probably futile unless you made some big mistakes. I wasn't around for the early game obviously, but America's starting position is so hamstrung by those armies in the Pacific. It's definitely one of the toughest spots on this map, but whoever ends up controlling the Northern Pacific has a ton of excellent expansion opportunities for the rest of the game. Well done! P.S. I think it's lame that you didn't stick around for my recent Japan solo on this map when you were France :P But I can see why you would get frustrated with Germany and Turkey continuing to attack you while I was on a clear solo path... and I'm sure trying to deal with that mess while orchestrating this solo took up too much of time and effort. See you in the next one!
17 Jun 22 UTC	That NMR was accidental lol, although it is true that I was a bit frustrated and knew I was a goner. But I was planning to stick around to try and stop you as best as I could, twas a shame real life got too busy :(
