28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: (Anonymous): great name
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: It looks as though the Dutch are about to revolt against His Hispanic Majesty. I feel sure His Majesty would deplore such activity but how do England and the Holy Roman Empire feel about this development?
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: We, the Hollandaise people, in order to form a more perfect sauce, have cast off the bonds of foreign tyranny and seek allies amongst our neighbors.

More to the point -- how would you like to divide up the neutrals, Munster?
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Greetings to all of you from England. I am open to diplomatic discussions - let see the first builds
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Indeed, England, it is very important to see the first builds. And it seems we have yet to hear from His Majesty King Philip IV of Spain.
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Ahoy, let's see how the builds play out. You all know mine.
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Oh nevermind, I didn't see the territory of "Spain" haha
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: That's the big difference your Majesty. Building in "Spain" suggests working with Munster and Holland, particularly Munster and taking whatever scraps you can on the continent. Not building there, suggests a continental strategy.
28 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Alright, France is wise and explained it well
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: my english friend -- I hope we can be allies. What are your designs in the north?
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: A bold move your majesty, threatening both France and England. What say England, should we respond jointly to the Spanish threat?
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Merely protecting my interests, chaps. You two can squabble over a single territory, or I can help one land upon the other's shore.
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: England, this alliance should particularly interest you. I am no threat to you, but a strong France surely is. You will constantly wonder when he will strike to his North, forcing you to leave a vanguard at home.
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Holland, I think at north we can act without bother each other; I am moving to East Wadden for taking Groningen.

About south, Spain made a reasonable build, but now it all depends on where he will bring his fleet.
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Ahh now Spain, that IS interesting. Do tell more.

Holland, it looks to me as though you are being aggressive toward Munster so I daresay England's help would indeed be useful.

Munster, You'll have plenty time to repulse the Dutch attack and you may wish to gain Dusseldorf and Cologne quickly while you still can.

England, I guess much depends on where your fleet on the South English Coast goes, and of course, the Spanish fleet.

Interesting times Messieurs, Interesting times.
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: England... The french make an interesting point. I hope we can continue to be conciliatory toward one another...

Munster, my cheesy neighbor -- I have no wish to be your enemy, either, despite the frog's insinuations... I think perhaps we three northern powers could forge a lasting friendship. What say the Brits and the Germs?
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: England, do you intend to move south with the fleet at SEC?
France, I'm sure you'd rather not waste time on the defensive, ne c'est pas?
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: C'est vrai
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: Do I have to expect a your early incursion, Spain? I am moving south to COF
29 Jan 12 UTC 1555: No, England, there shall be no incursion. A move north is a wasted move for me.
