Mon 12 AM UTC I feel this map is just not designed for gunboat. Like its on an epic scale, so many powers to talk to and coordinate with, chat makes it all so much more opportunistic

Mon 09 PM UTC I think that's what will add a bit of fun to it. Communicating peaceful intent is the most difficult aspect of regular gunboat where you have one or two neighbors. Here, that difficulty will be magnified and lead to more versatile gameplay. It might be more valuable to sacrifice the opportunity to take a neutral SC and instead support hold another power and hope for peace
