02 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1570: gl all!
02 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1570: I wish luck to my enemy's they will need it in the coming battle.
02 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1570: Starting with Uesugi
02 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1570: geez, thanks...
02 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1570: I was really hoping to be an Eastern Power for a change.
06 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1571: Did it trigger a retreat phase for the barbarians? Really?
06 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1571: huh?
06 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1571: 'They are disbanded immediately if dislodged.'
06 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1571: There was a few minutes where the game showed a retreat phase with none of us having orders.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: Can we all recognize from this round of builds that Asakura and Oda are in a quite secure alliance? The petulant squabbling of Takeda, Hojo and Uesugi only serve to make inevitable the unchecked growth of the Central Powers. Whatever your hostilities towards one another, you must unite or die. You have no alternative. Amongst the Western Powers, I am open to all reasonable discussions of strategy.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: It seems to me as if Shimazu has more pressing concerns than what happens to his far East, and distracting the immediate concerns he has would be extremely beneficial to himself, more than any other power. Nearly the entire line between myself and Oda is defended, so I'm not entirely sure where this obvious strong alliance is.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: A poor attempt by Shimazu to distract Mori and Chosokabe from the threat on their doorstep...
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: yeah i dont feel like losing iyo
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: I don't see this allaince either, they have both moved many units on to each others border and both have sent me messages requesting to attack the other.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: Oda built in territories which are already covered by fleets while leaving open his frontier with Asakura. Ise is now wide open to an attack from Asakura. Asakura similarly built towards Chosokabe and Uesugi instead of Oda. Takeda ignores my warnings at his peril. Mori and Chosokabe can know that I am saying the same thing to them both and be confident that I am making no effort to play them off of one another.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: I propose a seize fire with both Uesugi and Hojo. This alliance is to big to ignore.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: There is no alliance. The only thing my build showed is that I'd rather have a fleet to the east and an army to the west than an additional army that would need a movement into Oda to be at all useful.
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: I have to say, I admire Shimazu's skills at manipulation, I mean a better example of playing puppet master Im yet to witness
08 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: Whom am I manipulating? The Eastern Powers must unite or be devoured. They weren't listening to my private messages. If Chosokabe has a plan for a coordinated effort against the Center, I am willing to assist as practical.
09 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1572: All though I don't entirely believe that there is an allaince, as both parties have proved to be honorable players in the game.

I find is suspicious based on both their builds and a particular message sent to me by Asakura.
The only reason why I rejected it in the beginning was because I don't think either Uesugi or Hojo want peace with me. But then I realized this is global chat.
