@Imp How could your bracket be screwed up? Other tham Morehead St. there were no shockers in the first round. Although I am not a fan of Richmand I do respect them in the tourny so I had them beating Vanderbilt then losing to Louisville. Gonzaga beating St. Johns was an easy pick as St. Johns does not play well on the road, all there big wins came at home. I am doing very well having 15/16 of my sweet 16 left.

Don't get me wrong...all things involving those DEVILS are EVIL. I am just saying Irving may be the best player in collage and will most likely be drafted number one overall despite not playing since Dec.
It got screwed when that game that somehow happened between a 8 and a 9 seed in the Southeast region was scored. They never played, yet a winner was announced. (Current stage of grief: Denial)

In an effort to compromise the pro-ads versus anti-ads for games: Post here for your non-live games to cut down on the number of ads but still advertise games. Post game link, WTA or PPSC, and the bet. Note: this doesn't count for special rules games.
Hey yall. I have a variant design that I like but I dont really have a ton of time to make one myself. Is there someone who does that? I can credit you as co-creator.
I'm planning to leave the site but want to stay in one game (not one I'm doing well in, it's for diplomatic reasons as well as it being a very, very long game, 9 months and counting). None of my positions are doomed; otherwise I'd just Civil Disorder out of them.

I’ve noticed an influx of players who intentionally submit nothing but hold orders for years on end until they are eliminated, even when they’re not in hopeless positions. Often these players take over strong positions in large games, only to act as though their country is in civil disorder but without giving anyone else the chance to take over the position.
Which variant was the first to introduce sealanes? They're very popular in larger variants to allow more fleets to be in the sea at once, but I'm curious as to where they first showed up.
I've come up with a six-player variant that's set in the African Great Lakes region before colonization. It features some rules like portage where armies can transport fleets across land that mean it can't be implemented here. I was looking through the Variants tab and noticed that the average turn length in the Canton Diplomacy variant is listed as 195.51 turns. This looked a bit odd, since even 20 years of all 5 game phases is only 100 turns, and many games don't get that far.
