To clarify a likely future occurrence, if two players end with the same amount of SCs, they will receive the same amount of points, and the next highest finisher will receive two less. So if three players draw, with SCs 30-30-5, the players with 30 each get 5 plus the three-way draw allotment. The player with 5 gets three points and the three-way draw allotment. I’m not sure if that makes any sense, but I’ll reference this in case of this event happening.

If we don’t plan ahead or do it systematically I think it’s possible to end up with game 5 impossible to allocate everyone to a new country. If the previous 4 combos were a certain way. I thought the solution was rotate everyone one country clockwise (which is what I just did) but that also means that we always have the same neighbours. Solutions? Should we post the countries for the next 4 wars now (changing this one perhaps) to make it a more random sequence but one where everyone plays each country once without getting “stuck” on game 5. We can reallocate this game in need. Thoughts

There's the Ancient Med option that we can use. I can try to run it in such a way that we end up with the setups of the first and second game, that sound good?

This was surprisingly complex but I think I found a solution where the clock-wise order is not constant for the whole tournament and we use the setup we have already chosen for game 1 and 2. Didn't use neigbor optimization though, might be too late for that. Check it out, especially Grahamso1 and let me know, if this works:
