Who wins if two players get the same winning SCs?

Both Colombia and Argentina got to 18SCs (the winning number on this map) on the same turn. Colombia was marked as winning. How is this determined?

I've been watching a game of it and I've noticed something, you can't kill England, or Turkey. gameID=40270
England's current Economic position has it defending 6 SCs, with 3 units, and only one needs to order support hold. Turkey can put itself in the same position by builds.
This seems unbalanced to me as not only does this mean that no-one can EVER take England out of the game, but it means they have 3 bonus units out on the map proper, that can't be taken out (except by the very difficult, retreat catching).
Is this actually a good thing, and I'm just blind? Because this seems like a major flaw to me. Turkey Survives more than 80% of all games played of this variant, which is staggering compared to Germany's little better than 60% survival rate.

What do y'all think?

I think the economic map should at be hexagonal. The squares make it too easy to stalemate.

The Economic variant is flawed in that the economic area doesn't wrap. Players controlling the left and right ends only have to worry about an attack from one direction while everyone else can be attacked from the left and right. In my view, the economic area should either a) wrap so that the English and Turkish players are connected at the start of the came or b) be made into a pie-like map so that Turkey and England are connected at the start and you could move from the innermost areas (which are the top areas in the current layout) across to any other areas in that ring.

I mentioned this to Tadar Es Darden, the creator of this variant, a while ago and he, naturally, threw the problem right back at me to fix where it is still languishing.

It also seems to me that the barriers in economic should be removed, and the economic section should be build anywhere so that you can still participate if you lose your only supply center

@Swede03: Agreed. Also, it should be possible to add territories in a revised economic grid that don't count as SCs, but in which powers can build in.

Yeah, right now, everyone builds in their sc and then moves south except for that one guy who always moves sideways and wrecks the game for someone else

Territory is a supply center on the smallmap, isn't on the big map.
Am I going crazy? I'm looking at the Africa variant at https://vdiplomacy.com/variants.php?variantID=83. As far as I can tell, on the smallmap, the Uganda territory is marked as a supply center, while it isn't on the bigmap.

Territory graph
Here we got a "Territory graph module" which can be seen after the game finished.

The problem is that I can understand how to make it work with variants where we got additional powers (neutrals, upc, etc). With variants in which all powers are playable all is good. Please help... cause it's our common work to do WD better!

Not able to choose SoS scoring
When I create a game, I can only choose from WTA and PPSC. Here (https://vdiplomacy.com/points.php#DSS) it says that SoS scoring is available and PPSC was discontinued. This doesn't seem the case. How can I choose SoS for my game?

Looking for a 1600 game
Hello, I’m new here and have been out of pbem Diplomacy for awhile but I would love to get in on the next game of the 1600 variant here. Is there a way I can sign up for a game starting in the future? How does it work around here?

How do points work?
I am confused on points. I know that there is 2 types. The points that allow you to play x amount of games. And the points that show how good of a player you are. How does the whole bet thing work?

Rating question
Hi! New to forums and fairly new to this game, I was wondering how the rating system works. I understand generally that we gain points for draws and solos, and lose them for defeats and survivals, but how is it determined how much we gain or lose?
