Here you go, Frozen Dog. For your reading pleasure, all the EOGs. - Saxony
Great-Horde: GG everyone. It was nice being able to work with you Qara-Qoyunlu. And talk about Switzerland really staying neutral!
Wed 01 PM You: Good game! I came in as a replacement player, taking over a solid-looking position, and when the game already seemed to be winding down. Usually, I avoid "no messaging" games, but I figured it might be an advantage for a replacement player. I played a very conservative game - after helping to crush Bohemia, I just did holds and support holds, hoping for a draw, and wouldn't have fought anybody unless they attacked me first. In this game, it all worked out well for me. (I don't think that would always be the case.) Anyway, I'm glad we all agreed on the draw.
Wed 01 PM Brandenburg: I completely forgot this game existed. GG!
Wed 02 PM Tunis: Poor Frozen Dog, losing out on playing the Papacy to that finish...
gg otherwise; I am still surprised I made it this far; multiple instances of "how the hell do I survive this stab?"
Wed 03 PM Sweden: GG all - definitely impressive that Switzerland survived this one. Shocked that Papacy bowed out so close to the finish after playing so well.
I had some hope of a solo run, but that took a serious hit when my Saxon ally played friendly with England instead of continuing to push at him. That slowed me down considerably since it removed an angle of attack on England, and by the time I took the English island, Papacy and Tunis had advanced too far for me to have any hope, so I switched to a defensive draw mode and successfully signaled this intention to England (at least he seemed to pick up on it). Also challenging was when my early ally in Teutonic Order (ubercacher16) was besieged by another ally. I did enjoy my steady assault to take out Scotland.
Fun map, but definitely hard to solo.
Wed 04 PM Scotland: Ah, yeah I took over for Scotland not realizing I had no allies lol. gg!
Wed 04 PM Switzerland: GG all. I just stayed still and hoped nobody noticed I was still there.
Wed 04 PM Aragon: GG. I was impressed by England’s ability to survive and fight their way back. And well done by Tunis countering my attack! I was on a role, but hubris and karma made sure I got a reality check. And a very unfortunate NMR, sorry for that.
Wed 05 PM Bavaria: Well shitty game for me, I tried for a while as best I could, I can tell you that Bavaria in the middle is thought. Had the same experience as Switzerland in another game
Wed 07 PM Bohemia: GG all
Wed 08 PM Teutonic-Order: GG.
I was not happy about my exit, but I was glad that Sweden at least got some of my territory instead of letting Saxony have all of it. I would have liked him to help me out against Saxony, but alas no.
Wed 08 PM Teutonic-Order: GG.

Wed 08 PM Sweden: Sorry there Teutonic-Order. You were my ally, but I was working with Saxony as well, and I didn't feel I could choose sides without ruining my opportunities against mutual foes elsewhere.
Wed 08 PM Qara-Qoyunlu: Good game everyone! Great Horde, it was a pleasure working with you against the Papal State. Tunis, I'm glad we mostly ignored each other/ worked independently toward stopping the Pope. I was always tempted to take Crete. Had I done so, what would you have done?
Wed 11 PM England: Oh I survived, I didn't expect that.
Early game went very nicely and I conquered almost whole France. Offensive against Saxony wasn't a success and Switzerland had built nice little fortress. Aragon also seemed very strong and my expansion phase was over. Then my loyal ally Scotland started to NRMing and Sweden took very fast big amount of supplies. I tried to take something but it was too late and new Scotland was hostile against me.
Northeast corner around British Islands is real nightmare if you need to defend against stronger enemy. I had good amount of fleets but I still didn't find any stalemate line or even good defensive position.
Thu 04 AM Papacy: Congratulations to my predecessor! I have done nothing but reap the benefits of his excellent game. It is my first approach to this map and I wanted to experience its dynamics as a replacement. I didn't think I'd find such an opportunity.
Thu 04 AM Tunis: QQ - I was honestly looking for an opportunity to move out of Crete and indicate you were fine to take it, but there was never any space (I think GCY was free maybe once, but didn't want to move there because it would be very easy to misinterpret). So, once we'd established cooperation (or at least, mutual avoidance), I'd've been fine with you taking it.
Papacy - your predecessor was basically responsible for my remaining alive; twice they hit people who stabbed me and didn't take advantage of my weak positioning while responding to the stabs...
