It would be on a 10 player map, 3 would be told they are impostor and 7 told they are not the impostor. I can be the one to do that.

The impostors will be told who the other impostors are so they can collaborate.

The game ends when the crewmates eliminate all the impostors or vice versa.

Anyone down? Can a non-mod moderate a game?

We have youngstown redux, war in 2020, napoleonic, modern dip 2, fall of american empire 5, enlightenment and succession, and colonial 1885.

I was thinking modern dip 2 because it is tried and true but open to suggestions

wouldn't the game end when there are equal impostors to crewmates? Otherwise it becomes a team game with 3v7

I feel like we played something similar to this a long time ago - had a King, knights, Rebels, and a traitor trying to kill the King.

1 King, 2 Knights, 3 rebels, 1 traitor

IIRC, only player known to everyone was the King.

King and Knights had to defeat the rebels (and traitor I believe).
Rebels had to kill the King with at least 1 rebel alive
Traitor had to....? I don't recall.

@erikip107 I mean to end it early and save time yeah but if the impostors have 3 each and the crewmates have 15 each the game shouldn't end. And only the impostors know who is who so it is balanced.

Following the Among Us theme: after each elimination, would you provide feedback of whether or not the eliminated player was an Impostor?

@DaveSpermbank I meant remaining players left, like in the actual game. So if there are 3 impostors left, the game would end if there are 3 crewmates left. etc. etc. Number of centers would be irrelevant. It would also mean that if the game ends up as 1-on-1, impostors would win instead of it being drawn out where one person would have to totally wipe out the other.

Where is kaner?

Have you ever teach people to play Diplomacy?

My 8-year-old son knows that I play Diplomacy and sometimes even watches the situation progress in my games, but only today I registered him and explaine the rules of the game. He plays chess well, so I think there will be no problems with that.

Where are our Variant Creators?

I believe it's coming up on a year since the last new variant came out. The Diplomacy world is thirsty for more :). At least, the Diplomacy Briefing would like to feature some.

Live messaging Diplomacy

Hello everyone, I would like to play a standard game of diplomacy, but exchange social network accounts of one network all players are in (preferentially Signal, but fb does the job as well) in order to be able to have Live communication and if wished, even calls. Could make things more immersive. 1 ½ days per phase. Anyone interested?

Flash is Dead, Statistics page is Broken

Now that flash is dead, that statistics page is missing the graphs. Is the something in the works to get this fixed?

(it also just makes getting to the page difficult, as Vdip keeps asking for flash, and you have to say no multiple times before you can access the page)

Making bigger maps for existing variants

I''ve found a great guide to making maps for vDip variants, but I'm curious if anyone knows if the site has allowed higher detailed bigger maps of existing variants to be uploaded, or if the site sticks with the maps from the original variant posted. Is there a better place to ask these questions?
