Thanks RUFF for the PM, I hadn't been following the thread over the past few days. I will rejoin with the current parameters. I just have to say though, along the lines of kaner's "herding cats" analogy: We can ask, request, demand, and promise to ready-up, but in my experience it's inevitable that there will be tension over this -- sometimes warranted, sometimes unreasonable, often over misunderstood reasons, etc. -- but *always* felt by whoever is in charge. So please don't drag out builds/retreats, and on the other hand please have patience when it happens and (until and unless it is a clear continuing problem) give the benefit of the doubt. Because it's kaner who will bear the brunt of tensions over it, and I think we'll all agree that is not cool. Cool? Cool.

Victory Points are calculated for each currency and then added together:
Stock Held (rounded down to closest 100) -> divided by 100 -> then multiplied by Supply Centres held by the Stock's country.

@Temasek - VPs are 1 point for every 100 shares of a country (no fractional points, just round down) times number of SCs held by the country. So everyone starts with 600 VPs (4 SCs per country x 10 (1000 shares per country) x 15 (# of countries). If you sell without buying or don't buy as much as you sold on the first turn, your VPs went down. There was no way on the first turn for VPs to go up. This turn, however, VPs could go up both from selling higher priced stock and buying lower priced stock (more shares for the buck) and from countries gaining SCs.

So for instance, Arabia got stabbed and had no SC gain, but their stock price was low so those who sold say German Talus could still get more VPs selling 500 shares of Germany and buying as many shares as they could of Arabia. Or, any one who didn't sell Turan, just held it, got a 75% boost on the Turanian shares of their VPs do to his getting 3 new SCs.
