01 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Do u mind if we pause both games for a day or two? |
01 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Germany voted for a Pause. If everyone votes Pause the game stop and wait till everybody votes Unpause. Please consider backing this. |
01 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I'd rather extend them. Extension lasts 4 days and can be stopped if both players finalize. |
01 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Italy voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Autumn, 1902" the votes will be cleared. |
02 Oct 12 UTC | Spring, 1902: You didn't even reply my post... you were not asking for a pause.... you were ordering it. |
02 Oct 12 UTC | Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Italy voted for a Unpause. If everyone votes Unpause the game will continoue. Please consider backing this. |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I am sry i was not next to my computer atm i did not read ur msg |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: If u want an extend i dont mind |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I am sorry i was not next to my computer at that moment so i did not read your message |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: It's all right, don't worry. Just on this site, when you need a pause shorter than 4 days, consider voting "Extend": it's much easier to get and it works better than pause. |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: ya i think u are right |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Autumn, 1902: but how to end an extend??? by finallising? |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Spring, 1903: Yes. It's not a pause. "Extend" just adds 4 days to the current phase, IE if we extend now, the pahse lenght becomes 5 days + 2 hours (only for the current phase). The game moves on normally as the deadline comes or as all players finalize. Since it doesn't stop the game indefinitely, it's much easier you will find players inclined to vote for it. For the same reason, it's set that you need a just a 2/3 majority to get it (unlike the Pause that requires an unanimous vote). So in a Classic game where all 7 players are still alive, 5 votes are enough. This is important because, for some reason, there's always one idiot not voting pauses or extensions. Don't forget to NOT finalize when you ask for extensions! Sometimes I've seen extensions granted and lasted only a few hours because ALL players finalized. :)) The other players usually finalize to let the game move on as the requester comes back, so it's the requester the one who has to keep his orders unfinalized until he's ready to move on. |
03 Oct 12 UTC | Spring, 1903: okay i get it thx~ next time i will do that |
