19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: "The Great Chief in Washington sends word that he wishes to buy our land.

How can you buy or sell the sky?... the warmth of the land?
This idea is strange to us. For we do not own the freshness of the air or the sparkle of the water. How can you buy them from us? Every part of this earth is sacred to my people.

We know that the white man does not understand our ways. One portion of the land is same to him as the next. For he is a stranger who comes in the night and takes from the land whatever he needs. The earth is not his brother, but his enemy, and when he has conquered it... he moves on. He leaves the graves of his fathers, and his children's birthright is forgotten.

There is no quiet place in the white man's cities. There is no place to hear the leaves of spring or the rustle of insect wings. But perhaps I am savage and do not understand- the clatter only seems to insult the ears... and what is there to life if one cannot hear the lovely cry of the whippoorwill or the arguments of the frog around the pond at night?

The whites, too, shall pass- perhaps even sooner than other tribes. If you continue to contaminate your bed, then one night you will suffocate in your own waste. When the buffalo are all slaughtered, the wild horses all tame, the secret corners of the forest heavy with the scent of many men.... Where is the thicket? Gone. Where is the eagle? Gone. And what is it to say goodbye to the swift and the hunt?... the end of living, and the beginning of survival."

My friends, I have received a great vision. We, and our children, are all bound to die if we remain divided. Let us unite and show our oppressors that we stand unified as one people. Please vote 'draw'
19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: GameMaster: Huron voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: Where did you find cities of the white in the year 1500?
19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: )
19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: in a vision, a$$hole :)
19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: Too many sessions with the pipe of peace, I think.
19 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1501: or too little. . .

21 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1501: Nevermind. No extend.
21 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1501: I extend if someone gives a legit reason. But not like this.
21 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1501: No, I accidentally hit the vote button while scrolling up my screen.
21 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1501: I only voted extend because Algonquin didn't log orders until 1.5 hours before orders due
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1502: Great chiefs, I request a pause. My lands will soon be overcome by a great storm that may make it quite impossible for me to communicate with you.

26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1502: @ Kaskasia
What have you done to upset the Great Spirit?
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1502: Nothing yet, but it's never to late to try.
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1502: GameMaster: Mississauga voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Autumn, 1503" the votes will be cleared.

11 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 1505: Here is my goal for the next season or two:

I will move to ELE and move a war party by force to Niagra. If you move your canoes to WLE, then you should be able to take Cussewago by the autumn this year. I'll cut support from Oswego with Niagara, and both canoes can give you support. I'm willing to this because I understand your need to get moving somewhere. I don't want to see you stuck and idle any more than you do. I think this is our best option, and I hope you choose to go along with me here. It is imperative that you cease all ties with Kaskasia, and help the Otawatomi regain Saranac. He can then help you take Cass and Wawasee. Do not fear Kaskasia, he cannot hurt you.

Within a year or two, we will be free to expand to the east and our tribes will share many council fires and wedding celebrations together.

As a consequence, you won't be able to attack Shiawassee this turn, because Otawatomi must retake Sanilac immediately, and he'll need to use Shiawassee for support. This may alert kaskasia as you mentioned. You may be able to avoid tipping off Kaskasia by simply support holding Cass (as a facade), and bouncing with me in Sarnia (my canoe in Nile against your army in Imlay)- you can tell him that you suspect that I am turning on you or whatever. This probably won't convince him, but its worth a shot and it may buy a little more time.

IMPORTANT: If we can stabilize that border, then we will be in absolute control. We'll have the Otawatomi under our thumb, and he as well as Kaskasia and Ojibwe will be stalemated and no threat to us at all. If they break the stalemate somehow by changing alliances, we'll be able to exploit the situation to our favor.

What do you think about what I've said? What are your further concerns?
