30 Mar 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Greetings from French Indo-China! |

04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: This is now my 7th Colonial game, and along with Fog of War and Sengoku, it is among my absolute favorite variants. In my six previous games, I've won 3, finished in a 3 way tie in 2 and in the last, unfortunately, 2 players NMRed at the same time and we had to draw. I would like to believe that GOD and wandering trees both just randomly missed turns, but considering that they each had less than wonderful first years, I'm left wondering. I think that we should at least discuss quitting and immediately starting another game. While a fair distance from the action as it were, I don't feel that I am doing at all badly. It is mainly kaner I'll feel bad for at the lose of this game. |
04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: I would consider drawing this when those 2 are officially gone and then restarting a new game |
04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: Will they CD when they fail to retreat? |
04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: yes, should be ... then we 5 way draw and then start up a new game - sound OK? |
04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: 2 votes for |
04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: Man, I was really looking forward to being Japan...but sure. |
04 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: yeh I was looking forward to Britain too |
05 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: ok - but we should PM one another and start a new game - however China won't CD this season as he entered retreat orders. |
05 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: Why not just post it here and get it started? |
05 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: I'm cool with that - but I don't want our CD'ers to join. |
05 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: agreed |
05 Apr 11 UTC | Spring, 1871: I don't think that is that complicated. Yo, CDers, you're not welcome here, er, I mean there, the place we're all going to be away from you. |
