02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (crixno): I have always wanted to play this map! |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (pfunkdaddy): I never had. |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (kaner406): Perfect turn length, perfect timing (I'm looking for a new game to sink my teeth into), and great time of year to start some new diplomacy. This year a resolution of mine is to keep my active games to a minimum so that I can focus entirely on the few that I do join. Hope to hear from you all in-game and a happy belated New Years! (guess that whole 'end-of-world 2012' happened to be bullshit in the end after all :) |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (Jonnikhan): Yes, Happy New Year to all! |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (Hirnsaege): Welcome - i'm looking forward to play another 901. played this before as france twice (both rather successful) and Tang/China (total desaster) and it's still one of my favourite variants, especially with the option to change fleets and armies. |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (pfunkdaddy): I have never played this version before. I am excited about it though! |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (crixno): same! |
02 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (Jonnikhan): Pfunkdaddy, I hope you stick with this game and not CD. Your reliability rating is rather low at 10+%. The majority of players here are at 98+% and can be counted on not to CD. What makes a good game is solid participation. Can we count on you to stick around, even if the game goes badly for you? |
03 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: Egypt sucks! |
03 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: you said it, not me. =) |
03 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: I will stick around. |
04 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: Pfunkdaddy: You're reliability rating just shot up to 40+%. Nice work. |
04 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: Denmark... O Denmark, where art thou? |
04 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: not sure if this is a global or variant setting: will any extend kick in if denmark does not show up? |
04 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: (or even a per-game-setting i forgot to adjust?) |
05 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: Let's hope it isn't a technical problem with Denmark, or a family emergency, or any one of a thousand valid reasons. As His Majesty Donald Rumsfeld famously said: "Stuff happens." Anyway, I believe the administration set up the games so that if any player misses the first phase, the game is automatically extended until the missing player shows up or a replacement is found - or a time segment of around four days has passed. I hope this is the case, or Germany and France are going to have a field day. |
05 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: Yes im pretty sure that that faze gets extended |
05 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: GameMaster: NMR from Denmark. Send the country in CD. |
05 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: GameMaster: Missing orders for Spring, 901 (Diplomacy) from a country with 2 or more SCs. Extending phase. The game will continue after this phase even if you do not find a replacement. |
05 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 901: Aaaaarrrghh! Two day phases! How can you miss your moves? |
