08 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Now I make my misorder ;-) Fortunately for me the difference between moving to NOR and not is pretty marginal. |
08 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Yeah, the only difference is that I get St. Petes for a turn or two haha |
10 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1905: good move in the med. I was thinking on that one a long while. |
10 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1906: Thanks :) I was just hoping to minimize the damage of losing either Tunis or Naples. |
11 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Thankfully (or not) my misorder did not matter. Guessing games going forward, though? Can you hold BEr and MUN?? Big questions. |
11 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Oh shit, my other misorder matters a little more. |
12 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Which was your misorder here? With Gulf of Lyon? What was the other one though? And I'll be able to hold them. This turn was really the only one where I had a chance to lose them. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: Damn, that was a good one. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: After your moves two times ago I knew I had a new chance. You had a northern stalemate but you let it falter.... |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: Yep. I really hope that I don't blow this one.....I always blow the AvF's |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: should I go army or fleet? haha |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: I tend to do far better on the AF maps. I have won them all except when I played Devonian, in which I lost both. I always thought F had a huge advantage in this variant, but our games are showing the opposite. You need a fleet ;-) |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: See, I always thought Austria had the advantage since it could lock up BER-MUN so quickly, which is why I dashed for the Baltic with my fleet in the other game, but I didn't have the armies to follow up :( |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1907: And normally I would agree, but I think the game would be over before I could crack your fleets to the south (which, given the current disposition I could do in two years time) |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1908: And damn damn damn I should have moved to War last year. The game would be over if I had. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1908: I find if I am to win as Austria, I generally need TUN. Our game is an exception to that, I suppose. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1908: My strategy is to lock up the north asap (which I failed to do here....was close though), because France can never hold the Italian peninsula. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1908: Sure, France can. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1908: I've yet to see it done. Then again, I never really take a southern focus. |
13 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1908: My last game: gameID=11372 |
