21 Feb 13 UTC | 1555: (Halt): Greetings All! |
21 Feb 13 UTC | 1555: Dear Holland, I would like peace with you and I believe the two of us can work together rather well once the land between us has been peacefully settled. Do you have any ideas how our cooperation can proceed? England - Hello! Though we are quite far away, I wish you best of luck in this game. Spain - I hope you will respect that DUS is too far for you to take and respect that it is mine. Our border along the river is quite easy to uphold so I see no reason why we should waste forces to fight each other. France - You are very far from me but I hope we can remain good friends throughout the game =) |
21 Feb 13 UTC | 1555: Hmm, perhaps an equitable split can be arranged between the two of us - perhaps a mutual defense against raiders in the north? |
21 Feb 13 UTC | 1555: *and the south. |
21 Feb 13 UTC | 1555: I agree! The Lowland for the Low People! (Does that even make sense?) NYM to you KAM to me? |
22 Feb 13 UTC | 1560: Who am I to stand in the way of action from Muenster? Also Spain, I would like to be allies, perhaps we can make a deal? |
22 Feb 13 UTC | 1560: Certainly, that is a good split. |
22 Feb 13 UTC | 1560: England, let's not bounce from the SZE. You have your own problem to deal with. |
22 Feb 13 UTC | 1560: we have a deal france. |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1565: Holland, should we stand off at NYM-ACH? |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1565: Certainly - though I would inquire as to the state of taking Lee, Tex, and Urk if you have no apprehensions. As you do have then access to 4 SCs. |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1565: Lee, Tex and Urk are your territories and I dare not take those from you my friend =). |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: Ah such treachery! Moving an army to Ach. |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: *refering to the english here. |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: *opposite to ach. Iphones are difficult creatures. |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: What? But you said we would stand off? A Stand Off (at least to my understanding), means that we occupy those spaces (that's why there are two) in order to prevent stabs from each other....Much Like Austria-Italy stand off at Ven-Trieste, or France and Germany at Bur-Mun. |
23 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: Yes, yes. My apologies. I am moving my army back, just wait a second or two. |
24 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: France, Spain clearly has no interest in honoring his alliance with you if his actions at NAM are anything to go by. Rest assured though, that your friends from the obscure land of Munster will welcome you into an alliance if you so wish. |
24 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: Also France, if you build an army at THI, we can choke Spain out and be rid of these interlopers. The Spanish should learn not to meddle in issue not of the Iberian Peninsula. I will soon have 4 armies to march from the north, and you will have 2 if you choose to teach these Spanish dogs a lesson. Spain can only muster a total of 4 armies in total by the next turn. Those will easily be overwhelmed by our combined force of arms. |
24 Feb 13 UTC | 1570: Holland, I have a proposal for you. I will reaffirm my belief that CLE and VEN should go to you, on the condition that you move to VEN in the Spring and support me into MAA in the fall. Does this proposition seem equitable to you? |
