14 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: First off, this is fun. And good luck |
14 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Good luck all! |
15 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: The time has come! To make...babies!!! |
15 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Hang on. I thought this game was about killing babies, not making them. I never signed up for this. |
15 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Whaaaat you never heard about makin babies? That's how armies grow dude! |
15 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I suspect Italy mass produces them in government sanctioned orgies. |
15 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: oooh, very nice Lepanto guys - not textbook, but that helped confuse me a bit, and I actually think this is a very good variant of it Its my favorite move in Diplomacy, so I don't mind to much loosing to it - I just wish to let you know that you didn't quite pull it off without me noticing :) |
15 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: As my friend aero smith would say .... Dream on |
16 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Ouch... Poor Austria... |
16 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Dream On is my fav Aerosmith song. Not sure how this is a lepanto, Most lepantos don't involve Italy taking Trieste turn 1 or Austria tapping Ionian without Italies fleet moving to Greece to Aegean... |
16 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Sing with me, sing for the years Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears Sing with me, if its just for today Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away |
16 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Aint no sunshine when she's gone.... |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: We are so screwed. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Ya fuck my life lol, talk about being on the front line |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: And Turkey's being completely useless as well. Trying to make a play for Sev when I'm the one keeping him from having to face English and Germany armies. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Guys..... The wt is the hardest alliance to stop in game if its done right. We just have to remind Germany that when England gets big enough he'll stab with France. It's going to be an English France game but you bet your ass that we gotta try |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Russia - I am not making a play for Sevastopol - I was defending myself from you. I have not moved on your territories once, even though you keep insinuating that I want to - you have moved on me multiple times though. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Tried that already, but England and France are quite willing to be Germany's tools. Plus, Germany is competent enough to know how to limit F/E growth and he's got the most centers open to him to cut out both France and England. England will be stalemated in the north while France has to deal with the Italian deadlock - but Germany has no opposition except for Austria - who isn't ready to fight off Germany yet. I actually think denying England/France of any builds is the best strat and that's what I'll be doing on my end. Doing my best to make sure England get's nothing past St. Petersburg. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Turkey. 1901. Anti-Russia Open. That's clear intent right there. As for multiple times, I've only tried once, if you remember. I have also never actually made a play for your centers if we are to follow the logic that moving an army into Armenia is not intent to attack. Opening south was just a defensive precaution since I had already given up Black Sea, an army in Arm would have screwed me (and in hindsight, caution proved to be the wisest course). Not here to argue with you further though. Here to be useful and stop WT. |
