26 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
26 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Ok, I figure that this game is not really meant for either of us to win. We should talk through potential strategies, openings, etc. |
26 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: how do we want to go about this? |
26 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: I'm wondering if talking through strategies after each turn is better or talking through strategies before each turn. Knowing your strategy before I take a turn would influence what I would do and thus I think that discussing strategies after each turn is probably more informative for discerning and practicing the best strategies. Your thoughts? Note that with the public press, our strategies are viewable by others who visit this game. (unlikely but not impossible). |
26 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: well, perhaps that we play a whole game and then discuss it afterwards? |
26 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Sounds good. so we'll play the two games and discuss each after they're finished, possibly in PM's (and as a good use for the new notes tab, we can record for our own information the discussion). |
30 Apr 13 UTC | the game vs captainmeme does not go well... |
30 Apr 13 UTC | and you've got this one in the bag too! Nicely done.. Seems I've got a fair bit to learn about the tactics of 1v1 and that can hurt my regular game play either! |
