04 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1941: GameMaster: Soviet Russia voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 1942" the votes will be cleared.
04 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1941: GameMaster: Per 2/3 majority vote the gamephase got extended by 4 days.
(Voters: Soviet Russia / Germany / France / Britain)
15 Jul 13 UTC GameMaster: Soviet Russia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
15 Jul 13 UTC Why the draw? I don't mind, and I didn't want to hold it up on my own, but what's the reasoning?
15 Jul 13 UTC Every time I play this game, I seem to get England, and the scattering of their forces is brutal. Well played everyone
15 Jul 13 UTC well played. the period is just too short for me. my workload will increase the next days so I couldn't forsee how many time I ve to play diplomacy with this short phase... thank you for drawing and hope to see you guys in another game soon
15 Jul 13 UTC I had as Germany a good start a tight defensive formation in Central Europe but long term I was ultimately squeezed between everyone with no sea outlets. I think Soviet Union has a distinct advantage over most other nations on this map in gunboat. France and Italy seem almost destined to fight each other from the beginning. If played out, I could have seen this game becoming a slugfest between France and Soviets to reach the solo. France look like they could have broken through Britain before Soviets broke me, but if Soviets broke through Central Europe they could have expanded very quickly. (If I didn't misorder, to get through here Soviets would have had to maneuver a fleet to Copenhagen and launched a pincer strike on my weakest point at Danzig). It would be close. Whoever I defended hardest against (probably Soviets out of habit) would have lost. Well played everyone.
15 Jul 13 UTC That's fine, I guessed there was a good reason. France and Italy don't have to fight straight away, but I decided to throw everything that way from the start because I thought I could make gains. I was lucky here that Germany decided to do a similar thing towards Russia - had he moved towards me I'd have been out within a few turns, which explains France's awful rating on this game.
15 Jul 13 UTC if you like to, we can create another game with lets say 3 days time? then I can be assured that I don't miss a move...
15 Jul 13 UTC that would work for me, or if in the future, anyone needs an extend, I will always agree I just set up a new game..
