26 Nov 13 UTC | Autumn, 1912: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Italy replacing "Prazeodym". Reconsider your alliances. |
02 Dec 13 UTC | Congrats Battalion! GG all! |
02 Dec 13 UTC | Thanks. Thanks also for the great game! |
02 Dec 13 UTC | Good game. It's not easy playing Russia on this map... Turkey gets more reinforcements as time goes on from Cyprus and Crete. |
02 Dec 13 UTC | I agree. I think I was lucky on two fronts - a) Austria's NMR in Autumn 1902 meant I could regain Bulgaria and push past that natural stalemate line; and b) you (Russia) didn't challenge me for the Black Sea. I think that on this map it is more important than ever that Russia takes the BS (or at the very least doesn't let Turkey take it!). |
03 Dec 13 UTC | Yeah it's also important for Italy that nobody takes Ionian. In 1904, right after you built 2 new fleets, he ignored my alliance requests, threw all he got West and let one of your 4 fleets take Ionian within the year. Perhaps he thought that fighting France Austria and Turkey at the same time is a good strategy for Italy. I'm afraid we'll never know, he disappeared some days before the end. Instead, good strategic game by raapers2, I have to say. But that's not a news. I remember I thought that he read my mind, when I saw he disbanded Pic. |
