29 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1860: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
29 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1860: there is a broken link in this map, NYC should be connected to NYState by river |
29 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1860: or at least I think so, I will ask the mods |
29 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1860: i think you're right. i never noticed that. |
29 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1860: that would be great for Union to be able to get a fleet into Ontario and the great lakes so quickly. |
29 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1860: Makes a huge difference, I had not noticed either. Will play it as it is since mods may take awhile to answer |
31 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1861: sorry for taking so much time... spent a whole day with no internet... the perks of living in venezuela |
31 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1863: i missed your note. no big deal. if you ever need to extend, i am fine with that. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | Autumn, 1866: looks like an easy win for you |
01 Feb 14 UTC | Spring, 1867: Yeah, I think that played into my favor two turns ago. Only a matter of time now. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | Autumn, 1867: I know it is over, but if you don{t mind I would like to play out a few more turns. I want to see how it plays out. Nice job getting all those disbands by the way. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | GameMaster: Union voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | Gg, my friend. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | I think I have a better idea of which are the key positions for the union now. I though perhaps losing Ohio would be manageable, but I now see that without Ohio the pressure is constantly on NJ and NYC so not much can be done. I also just realized in this game that there is a river going to Ohio. I always thought it was land only. Perhaps Ohio should begin with a fleet build? What do you think? |
01 Feb 14 UTC | well played for sure |
02 Feb 14 UTC | I think that a fleet to start for union is an okay strategy. Much better for confer to start with felt in Tenn. |
02 Feb 14 UTC | If the river from New York would allow you to move to Ontario by the first autumn with a fleet, that would make a huge difference. I think it is pretty crucial to have two armies built initially in Ohio, because a fleet there can't help out with West Virginia & Richmond. |
02 Feb 14 UTC | Yeah, the map needs to be fixed so the fleet can be sent from Ny. Mods already sent it to be fixed |
