24 Jul 14 UTC Congratulations to the winner for a great victory!
I played quite bad: I started not wanting a war with Huron (because I felt it would doom both of us), but I spent most of the game fighting one. As none of us was able to make progress, we made peace only shortly before being swallowed by the Otawatomi advance (well, perhaps some help from outside could help us prevent the solo.. but it was not a sure thing, and I can understand those who were aiming to get a "better" draw).
24 Jul 14 UTC Congrats y2kjbk, well done. I was very surprised that Ojibwe did not take action to prevent the solo long, long ago. This was the biggest factor in the outcome. It certainly didn't help that there were CDs and NMRs at crucial times. This should have been a draw. Good game nonetheless, there was some very good cunboat cooperation at times.
24 Jul 14 UTC GG everyone, I might not have solo'd if Ojibwe put some pressure on me earlier, but I had to take advantage of the breathing room he gave me.
24 Jul 14 UTC Nicely done, y2kjbk, and good game all.

I agree, not well played on my part. Once it was clear that I couldn't advance further, I wanted to give Otawatomi (or anyone else) a chance to take out the little sides in the middle, before doing anything to distract him from that - but I waited too long and he was able to set up enough defense to make any attack on my part futile.
