15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: (GOD): Just as a reminder for everyone, these are the rules: FIRST YEAR: only Italy and Germany are allowed to move into these SCs: Salzburg, Vienna, Tirana, Prague →by the end of the year, all troops have to be in SCs (meaning allied forces can swap places if they are in home SCs by fall again)→NO positioning of units in strategically valuable territories, eg Cote d'Azur. SECOND YEAR: France, GB and the Axis can move where and how they want, meaning the war begins→SU may move units freely within its borders, but NOT cross them. THIRD YEAR: SU joins the war, full-scale battle begins. The game ends when one alliance has completely defeated the other, the winners then draw. |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: (Chris the Great): I just wanted this absolutely clarified before we start: You state first year "the end of the year, all troops have to be in SCs" - does that include additional neutral SCs bordering your country? Or are the listed SCs for Italy and Germany the ONLY SCs allowed to be taken in the first year? |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: I believe the intent is simply "First year all Allies stay within their borders and on their own SC's, Germany and Italy ONLY take the listed SCs, otherwise also stay within their borders on their own SC's." |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: Only netrals listed can be taken by Italy and Germany year one. Englan and France may move only from one home sc to another. Ie london could swap with Newcastle. Is my understanding. |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: Irony, France is the one county I predicted to get rolled with these conditions :-D |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: So axis can only move out of their county to take nominated sc's |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: Yes, Strider is right...the allies may swap the starting positions of their units, but not take neutral SCs |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: @Strider: the first to get rolled is Russia :P |
15 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: @Germany and Italy: Germany is supposed to get all of Austria |
16 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: And Italy gets Tirana, otherwise i don't get to move since exchanging any armies and fleets doesn't make sense for me. |
16 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: Ah I get it now, thanks! |
16 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: @GOD if I recall Russia dose come out well in the end, Just put aside the 21, 000, 000 + casualties for the moment. |
16 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1938: As long as i own Crimea i am happy :3 |
18 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1939: Idiot question, but it's alright to fully disclose moves to members in your team, right? |
18 Apr 14 UTC | Spring, 1939: Yes of course |
20 Apr 14 UTC | Autumn, 1939: Daaaamn, those German armies... :'o |
20 Apr 14 UTC | Autumn, 1939: Here come the fascists, and why didn't you move? Don't you want to help your allies? What's wrong with you |
20 Apr 14 UTC | Autumn, 1939: :-) |
20 Apr 14 UTC | Autumn, 1939: We have a secret pact XD |
21 Apr 14 UTC | Autumn, 1939: He didn't even take the Eastern part. I don't think he's gonna do anything |
