22 Oct 14 UTC	Autumn, 1873: Sooner or later, the Empire—dollar system, NATO-UN peacekeepers, and WTO—will rupture and this whole rotten-to-the-core structure of exploitation and oppression will come tumbling down, just as all previous empires before it have fallen. The exact circumstances that will lead to the inevitable fall of the Empire cannot be known in advance. Will it be the result of pressure from without or revolution from within or without? Or will the Empire’s fall be ushered in by a collapse of the dollar system or by some other circumstance that we cannot now foresee? Unless another imperialist “super-power” emerges—and it is hard to see who would play this role at this time—the global political and military anarchy that would result would sooner or later lead to a world war—with or without the use of nuclear weapons—unless the world working class steps in and imposes its own “law and order”—also known as the dictatorship of the proletariat—on the warring capitalist gangs, and then eliminates those gangs.

We kindly recommend that he direct his complaints towards the Tsar of the Romanovs and the British East India Company or focus his attention towards actual politics.
22 Oct 14 UTC	Spring, 1874: In the Year of Our Lord 1874, the Honourable British Crown Hereby announces that the East India Company (per the Government of India Act) is hereby declared to have served its purpose, viz. the bringing of the glorious light of British Civilization to the East Indies in the name of god and the empire. Its governing structure is now vestigial, and to be replaced with the governing structure of the Crown Colony of India. I am the newly appointed Governor General of the Crown Colony. The Crown Colony shall maintain the Honourable East India Company's existing foreign policy.
22 Oct 14 UTC	Spring, 1874: The East India Company board of directors responds to this with a press release, saying that they will continue their task of civilizing the world in their new function as a department store. It also reminds the Japanese and Dai Viet that a surviving Nguyen dynasty at this point is also out of character.

Honorable Empress of India, are you not amused by the Company?
