01 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2012: Guaroz (Gamedirector): (Guaroz): Hi all,
this is the Benchmark for this game:

DRC...........6.52
Egypt.........4.85
Ethiopia......7.06
Madagascar...10.30
Mali..........6.01
Morocco......16.20
Nigeria.......5.73
South Africa..6.28

The silence is ON, so if you need any clarification please PM me.
31 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 2019: GameMaster: Nigeria voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
11 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2022: GameMaster: Ethiopia voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
28 Jan 15 UTC Guaroz (Gamedirector): Hi Everybody,
There are other games still ongoing, in this 2nd Round. Nobody knows how long they will take, but in the meanwhile I thought that you could appreciate the following reminders.

Please everyone, start checking your own Integrity rate. If it's not good enough, you might be unable to join your next Round games.
You don't find everyday a good CD-position to take over and sometimes you don't find any at all. So please be smart, check now and often your Integrity rate and in case fix it asap.

Another good idea might be to brush up on the Rulebook. Months pass and you might forget something important. As usual, I'm available via PM if anything.

Thank you! :)

The silence is still ON.
04 Feb 15 UTC Guaroz (Gamedirector): The silence is OFF and it will be for 3 days
04 Feb 15 UTC In Spring 2015, I was seriously considering a 2 center stab on Nigeria to finish him off after he NMRed, but figured if I was the only one nice to him he'd see that as the foundation of a good alliance. Instead, he stabbed me as repayment. Oh well.

I also wish Ethiopia would have been a little less aggressive toward me -- things might have been different for both of us.

Good job to all and good luck in the next rounds.
04 Feb 15 UTC can't get nice things from nigeria ... he's ruthless :)
i was hoping for the same by preferring him as a repayment for my attack on him, while i was defending against my own attacker morocco ...
05 Feb 15 UTC well, at least i had a good start as poors house of mali ...
05 Feb 15 UTC pah mali, you attacked me first :). For a very short while, i thought it's over. Facing a maybe war with Egypt and a ruthless attack by Mali. Morocco still undecided at that point. I thought in the beginning Mali would be afraid of Marocco and not attack me. Considering his 16 points rating but as usual Hirnsaege took the opportunistic approach and tried to ally with him :).

But then luckily Morocco took the thread Mali from me and Egypt kept peace (i had tried to stab him before).

My stab on DRC...what shall i say. We had a pretty good relationship, that is true, but on a global strategic scale it seemed the best choice to attack DRC. Other option was sitting there and do nothing. I didn't dare to march on marocco.
Looking at the end result it was a good choice.

Of course i feared Marocco marching against me after i started war on DRC but i had a lot of troops up there to fight & stale him.

Madagascar and DRC could easily create a stalemate line against me and maybe even push me back, but another bit of luck for me, that Madagascar decided it should only be us three to survive :).
05 Feb 15 UTC Create a stalemate line against you, sure. It became clear pretty soon after that breaking you wasn't going to happen without help from Morocco so I decided to just knock the draw down to 3. Didn't see any clear path to a solo while peace between you and morocco was maintained.
06 Feb 15 UTC In my oppinion you had stalemate already. You even were able to take and secure south east atlantic ocean and you could have driven a fleet into south west atlantic as well. I was not able to take Orientale, nor Kasai, and Kinshasa or Equateur were even vulnarable to attacks.

Might be i would have been able to fight back but it would have made my position towards marocco weaker and you never now what happens then.
06 Feb 15 UTC i don't think DRC would have gone that aggressive on you with me looming behind him. I also don't see how I was ever supposed to take south west atlantic back then?
08 Feb 15 UTC Guaroz (Gamedirector): Silence is ON.
